Abstract :
The development of frequency synthesizers for a PCE communication system revealed the possibility of constructing a series of low-cost synthesizers for 400 MHz-18 GHz, with a bandwidth of 10...15 %, frequency tuning step of 1-28 MHz and output power of 13 dBm. Within the frequency band 2-18 GHz, analog dividers are used, as well as hybrid-integral circuits of ×2 and ×4 frequency multipliers, which were developed and produced by FSUE . The phase noise level in the 2 cm band at offsets from the carrier of 1 kHz, 10 kHz and 30 kHz does not exceed -60 dB/Hz, -75dB/Hz and -90 dB/Hz, respectively. Further development of elements and microwave circuits in combination with more efficient modulation methods will allow the construction of new types of communication lines.
