  • Abstract
    A new LPHS-E laser glass and its modifications were developed. Barium-aluminum-phosphate LPHS-E laser glass was two-stage synthesizing by two-stage technology, including OH- group removal technique. Absorption index of OH- group had a level less than 0.1 mm-1, the luminescence time of Er ions was approximately 8 ms. LPHS-E laser glass rods with 4.0 mm diameter and 65.0 mm length contained various concentrations of Cr ions (mass % from 0.06 to 0.14) were used as samples for the investigations. Main laser characteristics of these rods were investigated.
