The model of applicational personnel training and construction of curriculum system in GIS specialty

With the development of science and technology. The Geography Information System(GIS) as a new-emerging interdisciplinary discipline. GIS specialty has greatly developed in recent years. With the booming development of GIS specialty undergraduate education, undergraduate employment problems of GIS specialty have been exposed. In order to solve the problems of our university, to develop more optimal GIS specialty personnel training model and make progress in curriculum system construction. These problems need to be deeply researched and discussed. Take school of Resource and Environment of Ningxia University as an example, GIS specialty personnel training model and curriculum scheme construction has been studied and practiced. After hard working for several years, and we get some ideas to share in the education and teaching reform of GIS specialty in our university.
