Abstract :
The paper describes the research into a combined gyroresonance-gyroton mechanism of interaction between a large-orbit helical electron beam and rotating E11 and H11 mode waves in a circular corrugated waveguide. The research has shown the possibility of designing highly-efficient TWTs, offering an efficiency of about 78%. At the same time, both transverse and longitudinal energy is tapped from an electron beam.
