  • Abstract
Results of computer simulation of 3D electron-optical and magnetic systems forming a broad 0.4×14 mm2 cross-section for a power resonance 8-mm wave amplifier with an open electrodynamic system are presented. The influence of the magnetic field inhomogeneity on the character of beam shaping and conditions for its best transfer (96.3%) to the collector are shown. Recommendations on decreasing the beam losses are given.
