Abstract
The bandwidth of the stopband of a butterfly radial stub can be increased by rotating the wings in the same direction about its vertex. This is demonstrated using a butterfly radial stub connected in shunt with a microstrip line. The effect of rotation on the bandwidth and the center frequency of the stopband are presented. A reasonable agreement between the simulated and measured data is observed
