Abstract :
Based on the related data statistics of the six years from 2003 to 2008, from the perspective of space differentiation and by means of GIS, this thesis discusses the distribution and evolution of Chinese secondary vocational education in the last six years from the two aspects of provinces and the Chinese three areas of east, middle and west regions. The study finds that there exist distinct differences in Chinese secondary vocational education, which has a close relation with the economic development. In the eastern region with a developed economy and a dense population, the secondary vocational education is relatively advanced, while in central and western China, it is more backward. Based on this, it further analyzes the influence of economic development towards vocational space differentiation and puts forward some suggestions towards the development of Chinese vocational education.
