Abstract
Sensitivity functions of series impedance and shunt admittance matrices related to railway electric traction system have been developed in this paper. The series impedance and shunt admittance matrices of electric traction system are the functions of line parameters, geometry of the electrical traction system, permeability and shape of rail conductor and resistivity of the Earth, govern the characteristic impedance and propagation constants viz. attenuation and velocity of the signal.
