Abstract :
A novel multiresolution cell complex model (MCM) is presented in this paper. As an extension to MSM, the intrinsic structure of MC is discussed in detail, which is described by a novel topological structure BUBBLE node applied on complex locally and efficiently. For the first time, a basic transforming group based on BUBBLE node is built which unifies the traditional complex specific operations under an elegant uniform mathematic form. The relationships among BUBBLE nodes are defined as a DAG that constructs the logical foundation for basic tasks on multiresolution complex. Then the definition of MCM is given and compared to other typical multiresolution models. The results show that those traditional multiresolution complex models are special cases with respect to our MCM which provides a systematic theory foundation for multiresolution complex and poses sound values for both theory and practice.
