Abstract :
Determining the optimum location for an industry is a critical and complex decision for manufacturers. In other words, this decision is an important one for the industry because it affects the financial aspect. This research paper aims to evaluate the suitability of Isfahan, Iran for industries using one of multi-criteria evaluation method called Boolean logic. In the first step the criteria for site selection are defined and their maps are prepared. In the next step, the criteria maps are converted to Boolean maps and finally all Boolean maps are aggregated and final suitability map is produced. The suitable sites for industries in Isfahan are determined.
