Abstract :
A full ZVS-range variable transient current build-up (VTCB) half-bridge converter is proposed. Since the proposed converter controls the secondary synchronous switch to build-up the current for the ZVS operation in a very short period of time, the ZVS operation is easily achieved throughout all load conditions. Furthermore, due to the blocking capacitor, the proposed converter shows different ZVS operation with load variation. This blocking capacitor also eliminates the DC offset of the magnetizing current of transformer
