Abstract :
The paper studied the groundwater modeling method and groundwater optimal pumping process based on GIS technology. Firstly, we built hydrogeological conceptual model of study area. Secondly, we built mathematical model and used method of correction to identify parameters of model. Thirdly, we chose two test-time periods to verify reliability of numerical model and parameters. Fourthly, we made groundwater pumping plans and put the plans into model to calculate groundwater flow of forecast period. Lastly, we evaluated groundwater resources based on these pumping plans and gave reasonable evaluation of pumping plan. After that, we gave optimal groundwater pumping plan for study area.
