Abstract
There is a theoretical and experimental analysis of a motor-pump system directly coupled to a PV array. The motor-pump system consists of a permanent magnet dc (PMDC) motor coupled to a centrifugal pump. For different ambient conditions, different series parallel combinations of PV modules are tested and their performances are analyzed.
