Properties of resonance PIN-attenuators based on lumped elements

Abstract :
Analysis results of lumped element PIN-attenuator characteristics are given. It is shown that phase drift in the attenuation control range rigidly depends on amplitude and frequency characteristic irregularity, and the best matching is provided when Ru=(0.7-0.8)·Rum.
