Eliminating the distance between intelligent and not intelligent systems

The intelligent learning system (ITS) is addressed to the individuality of the learner and is adapted to the student´s model. It contains operations or modules like the knowledge engineer, the scenarios for didactic and learning strategies, the student model, the problem solving mechanism, quantity to quality and vice-versa transformation processes, etc. Every module or operation is a separate object for research and investigation. This is derived from the specification and the functioning of the ideal model of an intelligent system for educational purposes. The opposite of the intelligent system is a courseware (COR) on a specific topic, for a given educational level, containing only a student record and guidelines for the teacher. The article presents some approaches to eliminate the distance between an ITS and a COR, given that the implemented intelligent tools are very few and the available technology (multimedia, networking) allows us to work towards this direction
