Abstract
Two new balanced-input current-mode differential receivers for high-speed links have a low common-mode input admittance and a fairly linear differential-mode (DM) input characteristic, in addition to the linear transfer characteristic inherent to current-mode circuits. The DM input impedance may be such that no resistor is needed to reduce reflection.
