Abstract :
With the emergence of both high capacity broadband fixed and mobile wireless access networks, the application of optical networking concepts and optical transport of radio frequency signals via fiber feed networks has attracted great interest. This paper gives an overview of photonic networking and transport technologies that can be implemented in such hybrid fiber-wireless systems
