Abstract
We present a sector-based resource allocation scheme for broadband fixed wireless networks. For SIR requirements of about 12 to 14 dB, the scheme can deliver an effective reuse factor of one, while permitting a given spectrum to be re-used in every sector of every cell. The scheme also offers flexible sector planning, easy capacity growth, and addresses irregular cell layout and non-uniform traffic density
