Abstract
A microlens array is designed for receiving white light LED signals in an indoor optical wireless communication system. The designed microlens array is able to improve the performance of photodector in some situations. The results show that microlens array would increase power collection of photodector by 188% at a 2 m distance for moderate size of light source.
