Abstract
This paper deals with the current control strategies in case of one-phase or two-phase fault of five-phase permanent magnet motor. An analytical model has been adopted to individuate the more suitable current references, without increasing the motor or inverter cost. Thanks to the analytical approach a general result is obtained. Simulations and experimental results confirm the theoretical predictions
