  • Abstract
    The paper presents the design of an agile frequency synthesizer for an UWB transmission in the 3-11 GHz spectrum. The design is presented top-down, starting from a complete structure, the implemented basic structure, the schematic and the layout considerations and the testing. The circuits are implemented in 0.35 μm SiGe BiCMOS technology process AMS_S35D4 in order to validate the required performances.
