Abstract
A new Dual-Input Dual-Output energy harvesting boost converter with low power consumption for a Wireless Body Area Network is presented. A thermoelectric generator and solar cell are adopted as energy harvesters to operate a sensor and circuits for signal processing and wireless communication. The proposed chip is implemented in a 0.18-μm CMOS process. Power consumption of 0.23μW is achieved.
