Abstract
We consider a microwave level gauge for measuring the level of loose, fluid and paste-like substances inside various industrial reservoirs. Two dielectric resonators allow the reduction of the measurement error and improvement of the stability of the microwave generator´s frequency modulation. A weighting method of processing the difference signal eliminates the discrete error inherent in such devices. The methodic component of the measurement error is analyzed.
