Abstract :
Non linear flow augmentation model has been presented here. The model is built on an analogy of load flow problem in an interconnected power system; with a proven convexity under the various constraints. It is capable of incorporating water quality of the augmentation source, and changes in the water quality in river base flow due to augmentation. Further, the mathematical model has been used to pretense the flow problem as a constrained optimization problem.
