  • Abstract
    Recent work in selective harmonic control expanded the solution space compared to the conventional problem formulations. This paper explores the nature of the expanded solution space. It is shown under various constraints the number of solutions can be one, infinity, or bounded by a large finite number. The work further examines sensitivity of solutions to errors in the placement of switching edges that arise due to physical constraints. It is shown that this sensitivity is quite manageable with common digital hardware
