Abstract :
High-temperature superconducting fault current limiters (HTS-FCL) are excellent equipment for fault current limitation. In the scope of an extensive research project regarding current limitation in power station auxiliary systems, a HTS-FCL simulation is currently developed. With help of this model the widespread implications of using a HTS-FCL at various locations and voltage levels in the auxiliaries systems will be examined.
