Abstract
This paper is concerned with stability and stabilization of fuzzy bilinear systems with time-varying delay. First, we consider the stability of the closed-loop systems by assuming a special form of a fuzzy controller. Both delay-independent and delay-dependent stability conditions are obtained. These stability conditions are given in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMIs). Based on these stability conditions, we propose stabilizing control design methods for fuzzy bilinear systems with time-varying delays. Finally, we give some numerical examples to illustrate our design procedures and to show the effectiveness of our approach.
