Abstract :
In this paper, PSO algorithm is used to reach Nash-Equilibrium in congestion-constrained power market through a two-level optimization process. Enhanced Supply Function Equilibrium (SFE) incorporating Generalized Generation Distribution Factors for higher accuracy, is the approach to determine the equilibrium point of the market. Since GGDF values vary with the line flows as well as generation and load quantities, this approach can yield more accurate results than those not considering the varying nature of GGDFs.
