Abstract :
In incoherent direct sequence optical code division multiple access system (DS-OCDMA), one of the principal limitations is multiple access interference (MAI) due to unipolar coding. To mitigate MAI, we applied a parallel interference cancellation technique (PIC) to remove non-desired users´ contribution. We study in this paper, the performances of the PIC improved by hard limiters, when they are placed before the non-desired users or the desired user receiver. We develop the theoretical error probability expressions for the 4 receivers structure, and show the performances of such receivers as a function of the code parameters
