Abstract :
This paper presents results of a development of a low loss fundamental mode high frequency surface transverse wave (STW) filter. A new type of balanced bridge impedance element (IE) structure was applied. The measured insertion loss at a center frequency close to 1.5 GHz was 3 dB. The sidelobe rejection was more than 35 dB and the 3 dB bandwidth was about 1 MHz
