Abstract :
To overcome problems associated with the existing paper-based payment procedure of supply chains, a new payment method is proposed and its software architecture is developed. The proposed payment method is based on ubiquitous payment concepts, and employs the Garland and Anthony´s approach in specifying software architecture. Due to the fresh nature of the proposed CAPSC system with no previous experience for its development, the bottom-up software development approach has been chosen. The software seems to be able to solve the existing constraints in supply chains´ paper-based payment system between different parties of a supply chain and hence improve the performance of the whole chain. Workability of the designed system has been evaluated by implementing a simulation prototype of the system.
