  • Abstract
Recently, some of the authors have proposed a novel scheme, called frequency domain virtual subcarrier assignment (VISA) multi-input multi-output (MIMO) concept, to detect MIMO-OFDM signal (W. Bocquet et al., 2005). The principle of the VISA structure is to deliberately color OFDM signals by different virtual subcarrier positions in the spectrum to enable adaptive array of antennas (AAA) to accept an OFDM signal selectively (S. Hara et al., 2003-2004). Due to the promising results obtained by software simulations, we extend the performance examination of the frequency domain VISA concept, in this paper, into a real campaign measurement. To illustrate the performance of the proposed scheme, simulation results are presented for QAM modulations
