Abstract :
We propose a queuing communication architecture for real-time applications of networked control systems (NCSs). Simple strategies are developed to deal with packet dropouts. Typical scenarios are modelled, simulated, and analysed to demonstrate how a TCP/IP based NCS is configured for realtime control of a middle-scale process or multiple small-scale processes
