Abstract :
Smart Grid is expected to take different forms rather than a single, unique one depending on the environment to which it is applied. Korea has been building Smart Grid infrastructure in the form of Distribution Automation or Power IT in each area. Taking such characteristics into account, this paper explores the issues associated with K-Grid - the Korean version of Smart Grid - and suggests a system applicable to a field test based on the results of Power IT program.
