Abstract
This paper presents the voltage operation guidelines for the 345 kV substations of Korea power system. We used SVR(secondary voltage regulation) theory for the development of Guidelines. For the division of control areas CESI algorithm was used and EMS snapshot PSS/E datas were used for the study. The best target voltages for the pilot(reference) buses were calculated by optimal power flow. By analyzing EMS snapshot data we could find the control area voltage band and some other operation strategies.
