Abstract
The development of the Internet has enabled sophisticated Web-based systems in education providing. Over the years a wide variety of educational and learning support systems has been developed; some of them have been successful, and some have failed. In general, these environments are meant to help learners and teachers in the learning-teaching process. In this paper we discuss the Web-based learning environment e-EDU developed at our university, concentrating on its importance and implementation in the study process.
