Abstract
This paper describes the transient effects by grounding system methods on substation. Generally, the substation grounding system is modeled by just resistance. However, in this paper, new method which is considered the impedance of grounding lead cable and the grounding wire connection methods has been proposed. 3 cases including conventional method are variously analyzed in 4 kinds of transient frequency ranges. The results will contribute to improving grounding system modeling of substation in the range of high frequency transients.
