Abstract :
The authors extend the application scope of the Hopfield-Tank neural network to the design of databases. The model is used to solve a particular file design problem. By a partial match query, the authors find a subset records satisfying the specified conditions. The experimental results show that the paradigm proposed is indeed a feasible approach to obtain good solutions
