Microwave forceps-the use of microwave energy to weld tissue

The novel concept of microwave forceps is introduced, and some of the authors´ preliminary findings presented. The authors feel that it is far too early to claim that this approach to sealing blood vessels will be ultimately successful, but they think that the outlook is promising. Certainly, the authors are sufficiently encouraged to propose continuation of the work
