Abstract :
The self-organized network consists of mobile radio nodes (hosts, routers or switches), self-forming a temporary network, without any aid from existing infrastructure or centralized system administration. Designing a self-organized networking system is a real challenge, which mainly stems from three aspects: dynamic topology, lack of centralized entities, internetworking. To meet this challenge, the Computer Network and CSCW Laboratory in Tsinghua University proposes the wireless mobile router, designed to organize the self-organized network system. This paper describes the logical structure of self-organized network, presents the hardware architecture, the software architecture, as well as the main protocols of the wireless mobile router
