Abstract :
Analog Hardware Description Languages (AHDLs) provide constructs for functional representation and modeling of analog systems. However, analog systems can be modeled in a number of different domains with multiple views. Furthermore, descriptions that span different domains can be interconnected when representing a complete system. For an underlying simulator, these interdomain connections require a set of semantics through which the models can be interpreted and the desired simulation can be carried out. This paper defines a set of operational semantics along with the simulation algorithms for this purpose
