Abstract :
Current-sharing interface circuits are the combinations of current-sharing control techniques and oring-connection configurations. They are designed to improve the current-sharing performance of the power systems in which some power modules are paralleled to share common load currents. New current-sensing and current-sharing techniques are proposed in this paper to make the current-sharing interface circuits have good current-sharing capabilities at low loss and low cost. The techniques suggest that the output currents of the paralleled power modules would be sensed by measuring the inductor voltage drops and shared under a hysteresis current control based on the minimum current in a current-sharing interface circuit. A prototype of the current-sharing interface circuit is implemented. The experimental results are in good agreement with the theoretical analyses.
