  • Abstract
    This paper presents a high power factor electronic ballast used in fluorescent lamps. This topology has been obtained by combining a forward converter and an inverter topology. This topology is different from others because the forward converter operates with low duty cycle to provide high power factor, and low harmonic distortion.
