  • Abstract
    The methods of Fourier descriptor (FD) are discussed and the formulas, which can be directly used to make a computer program, are expanded. The reconstructed simple hysteresis curves and FDs are given in the paper. The relation between carbon content and FDs is discussed by using linear regression method. The linearity shows the effectiveness of the Fourier descriptor method to predict the composition of steel materials
