Abstract :
Rotational invariant features using DFT encoded even symmetric Gabor filtering in non overlapping blocks followed by fuzzy c-means clustering proves to be an encouraging method. Number of texture categories presenting an image has been determined automatically. The proposed method is promising as far as classification accuracy and computational time is concerned.
