Fire detection with temperature sensor arrays

We show how to locate a fire in a closed room by an array of sophisticated temperature sensors. Solving this problem enables not only the automatic fire extinguishing in buildings such as museums, warehouses, shopping malls, computer rooms, etc., but also a better understanding of the causes of fire. Consequently, this approach might be also very useful for fire prevention and fire detection
