Abstract :
It has been shown that an objective measurement of fragmentation is possible, leading to an alternative method for planning arrhythmia surgery. Although initial trials are based on limited statistical data, the results appear promising. Future refinements would include the choice of an optimal coherence template and fuzzy set membership functions on the basis of a significant number of controlled trials
