Abstract
Business collaboration is a special type of a business process that involves at least two, but typically more partners and usually is described using a choreography model. The complexity of collaborative business processes causes difficulties in modelling them in a user friendly manner and even more difficulties in representing them in a machine understandable form. The main goal of this paper is to discuss the scope of the semantic support that is required for the needs of automation of collaborative business processes as well as possible benefits resulting from machine readable annotation of choreography models.
