Abstract
Robustness analysis is considered for singular systems with real uncertain parameters. The robustness bounds of uncertain parameters are presented for regularity, impulse-immunity and stability in terms of the structured singular value μ. Based on linear fractional transformation (LFT) methodology, a systematic approach which converts the robustness problem to a μ-analysis problem is provided. The LFT-based approach can be successfully applied to both continuous-time and discrete-time uncertain singular systems. In addition, the approach can be easily extended to deal with the robust D-stability problem
