Abstract :
This paper statistically quantifies human body Electrostatic Charging (ESC) in an automotive environment. It shows human body ESC levels do not necessarily increase with low Relative Humidity (RH) or low temperature and are not limited by corona bleed off but rather by naturally-existing environmental ambient conditions.
